So a lot has changed on this website, since last I wrote. Essentially I tore down my styles and re-built everything again with some tweaks to the HTML. This still isn't the "final" design, but again I am "closer" to being finished. Whatever either of those two words mean.
Since I last wrote I managed to hop down to Austin, Texas for a little bit and see what's happening down there. The city is alive and kicking twelve months out of the year. And why shouldn't it? The January temperature barely ducked below 32 degrees.
We saw a lot of dogs and cats, a turkey, and plenty of coffee shops and vintage stores. The yards of many homes and businesses were marked with junk sculptures, and, unlike the streets of Milwaukee, it seemed like everywhere you needed to go was down the same street.
I am happy to return to Milwaukee, though, despite it's currently frigid temperatures.
You mean besides finishing cleaning this place up? Hmm...not as such. I've been pretty happy designing at my job, but picking up a pencil is falling fewer and further between, so I should probably make a note to continue doing that.
Milwaukee winters are no good for motivation.
